Our Story
Those who know Tom are aware that he comes from three generations of family in the craft. He is a perfectionist and his attention to detail can be seen in his products. Tom not only goes for the look in his design but also the feel, which, is evident to the touch. Each case is uniquely fashioned specially for each customer.
Only finest quality Moroccan leathers are used. These skins are dyed and handpolished to show the beauty of the natural grain. Tom also provides a book binding service on his sister company which you can view here.

Tom has travelled extensively and lived in many countries where he has sourced the highest grade leathers and skins. The hand polished goatskin used comes from Morocco and the exotic snake and eel skins come from Asia.
It was in Asia that Tom first learned the exceptional properties of bamboo and after extensive research he selected it for the housing for the iPhone and iPads. Bamboo is known for being both lightweight and strong.
You will be amazed at how easily accessible your iPhone or iPad is within the case. Notably there are no unsightly clasps, zips or elastic needed to keep cover closed as the spine is crafted with precision to open and close beautifully.
How did TomsCases Begin
Back in 2012 Tom’s daughters Poppy and Zerea started to talk to their Dad about making the cases after their he got his first iPhone. Being a bookbinder Tom was surrounded with the tools, materials and techniques of his trade. So it began. It was not long before he made his first case using calf leather and 150 year old parchment, the obvious finish for his first iPhone case.
Everyone who saw it commented on how beautifully Tom has blended ancient craft with modern technology.

TomsCases make a unique statement and are memorable gifts to mark special occasions. The cases can be personalised through hand gilded lettering and make ideal corporate branded or presentation pieces.
